Under state Law, TRAA’s rates are regulated and set by the TRAA Board of Directors in following Indiana Code as outlined in IC 27-1-2.3-8.1
TRAA receives $0 in annual local tax subsidy. As a result, you only pay for ambulance service by TRAA when you use it, not in taxes. Most other local and regional ambulances receive tax subsidies in addition to their charges.
