CPR Training Information

At Three Rivers Ambulance Authority we believe that the more people we can train in CPR, the more prepared for emergency situations everyone will be. The first links in the American Heart Association’s Chain of Survival are recognizing that there is an emergency, notifying 911 and early CPR. The public is a key player in this Chain of Survival and knowing how to perform CPR is crucial in helping a victim survive a cardiac arrest.

In order to allow more people in the area to become certified, we regularly offer CPR Courses at minimal cost for the public, healthcare providers and other companies. On the first Wednesday of every month there is a scheduled CPR course of some type. In “even months” (February, April, June, August, October, and December), a BLS Healthcare Provider Course is offered from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 pm. In “odd months” (January, March, May, July, September and November), a Heartsaver CPR for the lay person is offered from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. All courses are taught at our facility located at 525 Hayden Street in Fort Wayne, Indiana.

All of our AHA Courses are taught by American Heart Association (AHA) Certified Instructors or our Training Center Faculty. Please contact us to sign up for a course, request a course at your facility or simply request more information at: cprinfo@traa-ems.com.

We look forward to assisting you in the future!
