Auto accidents, accidents around the home or workplace, manmade and natural disasters, active shooting situations and terrorism are just a few of the things that can cause severe, life-threatening bleeding. If confronted with a co-worker, family member or friend with severe bleeding, would you know what to do? We can help.<\/p><p>There are a few simple steps that you can do that can control life-threatening bleeding and quite possibly save a life!<\/p><p>TRAA has joined the efforts of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security in bringing <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/stopthebleed\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Stop the Bleed<\/a> training to Fort Wayne and Allen County. Stop the Bleed is a program to train bystanders in what to do in a bleeding emergency until professional help arrives. Bleeding emergencies can take a life very quickly and knowing what to do could very well make you a life-saver!<\/p><p>TRAA is offering Stop the Bleed training to local employers, civic groups, churches, schools and other organizations in Fort Wayne and Allen County. Training includes training on identification of what a bleeding emergency is and how to treat the emergency using simple techniques and supplies.
